Journal Pages 1-3

This is an old Journal that was in  my husband's  Grandma Mayme's things. Mayme was in her 20's when this was written.  I don't know if  she knew the person that wrote the journal but  it was given to her and she held onto everything!! The first entry was in March of 1937. Imagine what life was like in 1937.So, sooo  simple compared to life in 2011!!!

Imagine if you lived in 1937. What would a day in your life be like?  In this journal they talked about the weather and what they cookfor dinner, who came to see them that day and weekend trips they took.

Today people's lives are consumed with sending messages and checking up on people on facebook. We say our day was so busy.or I will stop for a  quick lunch, and then after a long day, we swing by and grab dinner on the way home.Yes life is busy, but taking time to reflect on your life. Start a journal and when someone looks back on your life, that person will enjoy your journal as much as I have enjoyed this Journal.

Once a week I will send out a few pages or the Journal for all to enjoy!!!!
